A Ride On The Christmas Train

Last Saturday we went to a small town close by to ride The Christmas Train. The train was decorated and as we traveled along a special guest came and greeted everyone. I am not sure if the kids liked the train or Santa more. Both seemed to be equally exciting. They also had minature villages set up with trains that were very detailed. There was an antique steam engine that the kiddos were able to load some wood into the fire and ring the bell. All in all we had a lot of fun. Mason still says choo choo, whoo whoo.

Dear Holly, I found your blog! You've done a great job. The family pics are beautiful, and it's fun to read what you have been up to lately. I spoke with Josh the night before he left. I was driving by the house and wondered why your garage door was up, so I slowed down. My heart was pounding. Would I have to call 911 or wrestle with a burglar in my skirt (I was on my way to a Christmas dessert)? I was SO relieved when Josh stepped out of the garage! No burger napping that night! Your house looks fine, and I'll continue to keep an eye on it. You still have pumpkins on the front porch, which I'll toss when they start to get moldy! Brandi and I are hosting a "Castlebrook" cookie exchange next week. I've finally met some neighbors I've only seen through the window shades. I hope they come so I can get to know them better. I'd like to send you a Christmas card and our annual "newsletter". Can you email me your address at Paul.Carri07@gmail.com? Thanks! Your Neighbor (Across the Miles) ~ Carri
